Illustration is about providing a visual window into a story or a concept, that a writer cannot portray with words alone; it is a visual storytelling. In its best form, it can produce wonder all on its own, or deliver a message that far exceeds what the written word eluded to.

Jeff has been illustrating professionally for more than three decades, drawing the monsters that got him in trouble in Jr. high, and painting landscapes he visits in his dreams.

These days Jeff’s home studio is located in southern Vermont, where nearly every view can be part of the next painting.
